Mother nature has provided us with all the remedies we need in order to restore our health and beauty. The secret lies in understanding and knowing what to use, how to use it and when to use it.
The rising problem in nutrition deficiency has a direct correlation to problems of the skin. Changing the way we eat can have a major effect on the quality of our skin. In order to do so, modifying the way we eat is a must. Diets have to include a lot of vegetables and fruit that have a large source of vitamins that as we know are very important when it come to the health and well being of our skin and body. Avoid sun exposure, as the sun poses the most problems for the skin, and consume enough water to keep you hydrated.
Dry skin
To help dry skin regenerate try using facial masks made out of natural ingredients. If you have dry skin use honey, oats, orange water and a little wild rose oil. Oats gives your skin a gentle pealing while honey has a very moisturizing effect. Wash the mask of with the combination of orange water and rose oil that acts as a toner leaving your skin felling rejuvenated and fresh. When dealing with dry skin, your diet has to incorporate fresh vegetables and fruits, along with healthy fats like avocado and sunflower seeds that are a great source of vitamin E, an antioxidant that is essential for the maintenance of healthy skin.
Seborrheic skin and acne
Seborrheic skin is caused by the hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands. This skin type in directly linked to the development of acnee. Acnee is a universally known problem that surfaces during puberty, but it can also appear later in life. This dermatological problem doesn’t pose a real medical problem but is a source of embarrassment to many people. For this skin type, try mixing some yogurt with clay. Yogurt contains vitamin B12 that helps prevent the development of acnee. Clay has a detoxifying and a antiseptic effect. Include in your diet foods rich in vitamin A: liver, eggs, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, peaches; Vitamin E: olive oil, corn oil, avocado, almonds, spinach; Vitamin C: Citric fruits, kiwi, strawberries, bell peppers, broccoli; Zinc: oysters, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate, see food, red meat.
Premature wrinkled skin
There are a number of factors that can lead to premature aging of the skin. One of them is sun exposure. UV rays affect the quality of the skin, causing irreparable damage. For this skin problem the use of healthy fats can come in handy. Use a mask with avocado and honey. Avocado is a source of vitamin E and together with honey create the ultimate moisturising mask. Make sure your diet is filled with the recommended healthy fats like salmon, avocado, olives, olive oil, flax seed oil. Eat fruits and vegetables like strawbwrries, citric fruits, carrots, tomatoes that are filled with antioxidants which protect you skin from the effects of free radicals.
